Hi, I'm Karamee, and I’m glad you made it here!
Therapy can feel intimidating at first, and I want you to know that my goal is to make it feel approachable, supportive, and grounded in genuine care. I strive to cultivate an environment where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment. Working with me means entering a space where your story matters, your experiences are honored, and growth happens at your pace.
I specialize in working with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD/ASD and other forms of neurodivergence, trauma recovery, spirituality, relationship challenges, boundary difficulties, life transitions and processing past experiences or abuse. I especially enjoy supporting teens who feel alone, misunderstood, or disconnected, helping them feel seen, heard, and understood as they navigate who they are and who they want to become. I approach each client through a strengths-based lens, helping you uncover resilience you may not even realize you already have.
A Little About My Style:
If I had to describe my counseling style in a few words, I would say it’s warm, steady, compassionate and collaborative.
I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard. I tailor my approach to you because no two people are the same. I draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and trauma-informed care—but more than any specific technique, I focus on the relationship we build together.
Therapy with me isn’t about me having all the answers. It’s about us working side by side to explore what’s been weighing on you, make sense of your experiences, and find practical tools that actually fit your life. You are the expert on your story—I’m here to help you navigate it with curiosity, clarity, and encouragement. When you’re ready, I’m here.
For those who value faith, I’m happy to integrate spiritual reflection into our sessions. Your beliefs are always honored. Whether you’re rooted in faith, wrestling with it, or simply curious, we can create space to explore that together.
Accessible Counseling:
In addition, I am a certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and am honored to provide accessible counseling services to members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Ensuring that therapy is culturally sensitive and inclusive is deeply important to me.
