As The Next Chapter Counseling is expanding, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (including associates) to join our private practice in McKinney, Texas. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional care to our clients, and we are seeking clinicians who share our passion for mental health and wellness, as well as being able to offer Christian faith-based counseling to clients if requested. Our ideal candidates will have a special heart for working with couples and families, as well as individuals.

Position: Licensed Mental Health Therapist - LPC, LPC Associate, LMFT, LMFT Associate
Position Type: 1099 Contract
Location: On the border of Frisco and McKinney, Texas

Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
Most possess a valid license as a mental health therapist in the state of Texas or a related field, from an accredited institution. (LPC, LMFT, LPC associate, LMFT associate, or equivalent).
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
Willingness to provide counseling from a Christian faith-based perspective upon client request
Ability to self-market along with company marketing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to learn new counseling skills and techniques
Possess excellent time management skills
Experience contacting clients via phone call or email regarding scheduling and billing
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide theoretically grounded therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
Prefer candidates who specifically enjoy providing couples/family counseling
Candidates must be willing to play an active role in growing their caseload
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Ensure all clinical documentation in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is up to date daily, including treatment planning, progress notes, and assessments
Healthy communication skills with clients and practice owner
Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of mental health
