How much does therapy cost?

Our therapists’ fees range from $120-$175 per session depending on service and licensure level. Our Associates fees are $120-$145 per session depending on the service requested, and our LMFT Supervisor’s fees are $150-$175 per session depending on the service requested.

We do offer a sliding scale on a case-by-case basis.

Do you take insurance?

Because we value your quality of care and the confidentiality of your mental health concerns, we do not accept insurance.

Filing mental health counseling through insurance requires therapists to assign a diagnosis to your permanent medical record within the first 50min appointment. These diagnoses remain in your records for life, and can impact decisions you may want to make in the future (such as joining the military, etc).

It also often involves the insurance company reviewing the notes from your sessions so that an insurance representative can determine whether or not you are benefiting from therapy, and consequently whether they will continue to cover your therapy. This can result in the client receiving a surprise bill to pay for sessions that your insurance company decided not to cover after all.

Our priority is to tailor your therapy to meet your needs and to focus on providing the best care for you and your family that we can, and we can do this better if we just stick to counseling.

If you would like to submit sessions to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement, we are happy to provide you with a superbill for each session.

What is your address, and how to I get to your office?

Our office is located inside the First Guaranty Bank building on Custer and Stonebridge Dr. The address is:

8951, Synergy Drive, McKinney, Tx 75070

When you arrive at the bank, you will enter the building and go up to the second floor where there will be a seating area in the atrium. Your therapist will collect you from there when it is time for your appointment. If you get lost or need further directions, give us a call!
