Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT)

Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT) is a trauma-processing therapy which is reported by both therapists and clients to be similar in purpose to EMDR, but more solution-focused, as well as being a gentler emotional experience. According to the ETT Training website:

“Emotional Transformation Therapy provides a drug-free therapeutic treatment modality appropriate for treating clients for a wide range of conditions. The rapid rate of response that clients experience with ETT® is profoundly significant. Clients consistently experience remarkable relief in a very short time.” [https://www.etttraining.com/]

Similar to an EMDR therapist’s use of light, sound, or tactile stimulation, ETT therapists use colored lights and eye movements to guide neural impulses to the parts of the brain where emotional pain or trauma is stored. This process helps to reframe and resolve the trauma, allowing for emotional transformation and symptom relief.

It is an Attachment-Theory-based approach to helping clients process and release emotional pain stored in the brain. This process helps to reframe and resolve the trauma, allowing for emotional transformation and symptom relief.
